The Eternaut was a very special project for us. We joined this project on 2020’s pandemics and ended our work on April 2025, days before it premiered on Netflix.
K&S Films and director Bruno Stagnaro contacted us at the genesis of the project to stablish a workflow that allowed us to scan many places of Buenos Aires city with new photogrammetry techniques and cover it with digital snow. This research and development process was crucial for the creation of the show and became the first one in our region that started experimenting at this scale with Unreal Engine and LED volumes to achieve hundreds of in-camera visual effects (ICVFX) shots.

Joining forces with K&S in 2023, we created a new Virtual Art Department inhouse team (supervised by Ignacio Pol & Pablo Accame) that allowed us to create more than 30 virtual backgrounds based on real locations that were later delivered and used by all the VFX vendors to create the set extensions of the show.

We supervised on set the Virtual Production of all the ICVFX scenes done in the LED volumes of Cacodelphia Studios.
We also were the On-Set VFX Supervisors of many scenes and later in post-production we technically supervised along director Bruno Stagnaro, cinematographer Gaston Girod and production designer Maria Battaglia all the VFX shots of the show that came from 10 different vendors of the world.
Together with the K&S inhouse team + our CONTROL Studio team (supervised by Nicolás González) we finished almost 1000 VFX shots using Unreal Engine as the main renderer and encouraged all the other vendors to follow this incredible real-time workflow. This was really epic!

Along this journey we worked with many incredible artists that shared the same passion for this incredible story, and once it premiered on Netflix in more than 200 countries it became an international hit.
After the initial success of the show, we gave many talks around the world evangelizing about our use of virtual production techniques.
On September 2025 we received a special distinction from the Advisory Committee on New Technologies of ARGENTORES (The Argentine Society of Authors) for our contribution to the use of new technologies that honor the argentinian audiovisual industry.
On November 2025 we received an honorary diploma from the Honorable Chamber of Senators of the Argentine Nation for our key role in the show.

On December 2025, the show won the Golden Martin Fierro Award and 7 other categories, including Best Drama Show , Direction, Script, Cinematography, Editing, Costume Design and Supporting Actor.
